Who are the English Folk Dance and Song Society and why do they have a shop?

EFDSS is the national folk arts development organisation for England. We are here to champion the English traditional arts – music, song, dance, storytelling, customs and traditions – as part of the rich and diverse cultural landscape of the UK.

As part of our remit to preserving, promoting and developing Folk arts we think it is important to sell educational resources, academic text and music. A lot of the publications we sell we also produced.

How do I add items to the basket?

Below each product is a button marked 'Add to basket'. Use the text box to enter the appropriate quantity, then click 'Add to basket'. The item will now appear in your basket, which can be viewed using the link to the right of the search box.

How do I change the quantity or remove a product from the basket?

Once the product has been added to the basket, click the 'Show basket' link in the red bar at the top the page, to the right of the search box. You will be presented with a page listing all the products you have in your basket. To change the quantity, type the appropriate number in the quantity text box in the same row as the name of the item in question. Click the blue arrows next to the text box to update the basket. If you simply wish to remove the product from the basket, click the blue rubbish bin icon in the same row as the product name.

How do I arrange a different postal address?

Once you have logged in or registered, you will see two red buttons at the top of the basket page marked 'Add/Edit billing address information' and 'Add/Edit shipment address'. The billing address should always be the address registered with your bank. Use the first button to change this if needed. If the shipment address is left blank, the product will be shipped to your billing address. If you would like the products in your basket to be sent to a different address, click 'Add/Edit shipment address' and enter the appropriate address.

What is SagePay?

SagePay is the epayment system we use to process your card payments. We use them because they have the best possible security and we therefore know you are at your safest while shopping with us.
